Monday: Be a Good Sport… don’t bully! – Wear athletic clothes.
Tuesday: Put a lid on Bullying! – Wear hats.
Wednesday: Bullies give us the Blues – Wear blue jeans.
Thursday: Peace Day – Wear peace signs and tie-dyed shirts.
Friday: Team Shuford stands against bullying! – Wear Shuford Shirts.

Due to seeing a decrease in sales from our PTO Catalog Fundraiser we are trying something new in 2012-2013. Shuford's PTO will be holding a Walk-a-Thon! The best part of this is that 100% of the money raised will go to the school and the kids will be getting exercise, and the parents can join in and spend quality time with their child(ren).
We have the perfect location right in our own backyard, now all we need is the perfect T-Shirt for the occasion, since we are planning on selling the t-shirt at the event. We will be holding a contest between Grades K- 4th, starting January 25 and run until February 23 for the best design representing the Fund Raiser and the school. The 5th graders will be the judges, as they will be off to the middle school.
Please help your child with their creative side, please only use 4 different colors on the design. Remember this is for our children and their school, so the themes should relate.

Calling All Heart Heroes
YOUR child can be a Heart Hero and help children with special hearts by participating in Jump Rope For Heart at their school! Jump Rope For Heart is a fun experience where children have fun jumping rope, learning about their hearts and how to keep them healthy, all while raising life-saving donations for the American Heart Association.

We invite you to visit the following website at www.rfeonline.com. As an active subscriber, you can view, print, and download your issues with your personalization included.
To access your issues online: go to www.rfeonline.com
*Click on the "Create Profile" link in the Subscriber Access box in the top left of the home page.
* On the next page, enter your customer number in the box provided. (Your customer number is 580003).
*Next, click on "Get Customer Info."
*Review the information that appears on the form, make any corrections needed, and be sure to fill out all required fields (indicated by an asterick).
* Then, click on "Save & Proceed." You have now created your user profile.
If you have previously created your profile, enter your login name (email address) and password in the Subscriber Access box in the top left of the home page. Click "Login," and you are ready to go!
To access your personalized issues, click on the newsletter title located under "Your ACtive Subscriptions" and then on the PDF button next to the monthly issue you wish to access. To save or print your issue, use the appropriate toolbar buttons located at the top of the PDF window.
Only one user name and password is allowed for each customer.
